We reached a time when having a website is just as important as having a business card. Almost every entrepreneur who opens a business thinks about having a company website. The idea is not to create a stylish, colorful or better-engineered website, but to own a website that is different from the competitors. The company that owns a website provides confidence to customers and is also gaining a huge advantage from those businesses that don’t have a virtual space by creating a more positive image and of course their brand.

There are 2 types of websites for which the brand constitutes a priority:

Personal site

This website is intended for people who have a great deal of authority and image. The personal website contains the biography of the person who owns the website, his thoughts and ideas, the results of his workquotesbooks or articles he or she has written. There is usually a forum and/or a chat. Depending on the site owner’s field of activity, its categories may be different. Good examples of brand people are of course public speakers, mentors, trainers, bloggers and more and more popular –  vloggers .

Brochure site

A website that represents the company’s business card is usually created when a small but informative website is wanted at the same time. On average, a brochure website has about 5 pages and contains only general information about it (contact details, company activity and price list of products that are offered for sale or services offered). Even if such a site contains less information, it is a pretty convincing tool for customers. The brochure website is created in less time and at a lower price than other types of sites. Compared to a simple business card, this website has a bigger influence on customers. A brochure site is a good start for a company to build their brand name.

Main requirements for a website

Organization’s website will reduce advertising costs, make the image of the company stronger and it will also make it profitable. In order for all of this to happen, the website must meet several requirements:

  • Keep a dynamicresponsive and flexible character;
  • Have the design relevant to company’s field of activity;
  • To mandatory include  the company’s contact details and as many ways to contact you as possible, including phone numbers, fax, e-mail, and company homepage on social networking sites;
  • Accurately present the prices for the products or services provided;
  • Regularly update existing information on the website not to provide customers with incorrect data.

Even if it would seem that there is much more means of spreading the information which are available nowadays, why to choose the website? Because it is a much more effective method compared to the others and I would like to say that the website is a very useful tool in the development of a business, and as the time passes, this tool is becoming more and more difficult to replace. I think we have listed enough reasons in this and previous articles to get people who don’t have a personal or company website yet to analyze their situation and to act accordingly.
